Williamson County is hosting public open houses to share information and collect input on several corridors proposed for study. The open houses are from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The meetings are an open house format, allowing attendees to come and go at their convenience. There will be no alignments shown at these meetings. The purpose of the open houses is to receive input from the public and identify constraints. We will be using the information you provide at this open house to design the future alignment, so your input is invaluable.  Open house dates can be found here.

Williamson County EMS has received the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline® EMS Gold Plus Award.  This award is given for continuing to meet quality improvement measures for the treatment of patients who experience heart attacks.

Williamson County EMS is pleased to announce the offering of American Heart Association CPR and First Aid classes on June 10, 2017.  These classes are open to anyone with a desire to learn how to save a life or act in a medical emergency.  Registration is open until 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 4.

Williamson County offices will be closed on Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day.  All county operations will resume regular hours on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will be open regular hours on Monday from noon to 6 p.m. The shelter is offering free adoptions to all adult dogs and cats May 27 to 29, 2017. Williamson County Emergency Medical Services will be working in conjunction with local partners to conduct two child safety seat inspections in May. The first is May 12, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Georgetown at The Learning Experience. The second is May 15, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Taylor.  The inspection events are offered at no cost to participants and are available by appointment only.
