CR 200

From CMTA Railroad to CR 201

Reconstruct CR 200 to a two-lane roadway with a center turn lane and shoulders (3 lanes of an ultimate six-lane roadway) a distance of 1 mile.

MA Smith Contracting is the contractor. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Oct. 27, 2021. Construction began begin Nov. 15, 2021, and be completed in fall 2022.

Detour: Williamson County’s contractor Smith Contracting is scheduled to begin installing two cross culverts and a waterline crossing across CR 200 on Monday, Jan. 31. The cross culverts are being installed between the railroad tracks and Stagecoach and will require them to set up daily detour routes at the crossings. The detour is just diverting traffic around each work location. At the end of each day, the traffic will be diverted back onto existing CR 200. Please see the detour map. This work could take up to two weeks to complete. Minimal delays are expected. The detours will only be set up if weather permits. We appreciate your patience as we complete this road improvement project.
