Uncontested Docket

The uncontested docket for County Court at Law #2 cases will be held Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:45 a.m. prior to the regular docket, but subject to Judge Barker's availability. No prior scheduling is required for uncontested matters, but it is suggested you contact the court office before appearing to make sure that the uncontested docket is be held that day. If the uncontested docket has been canceled, there will be a statement under "Calendar Change for Uncontested Docket".

Anyone appearing on the uncontested docket should sign up in the courtroom on the uncontested docket sheet. You are required to sign up for the uncontested docket prior to 8:30 a.m. Any and all documents you want the Judge to consider should be left at the bench.

Any self-represented litigant shall be prepared to follow all appropriate procedures and be available to testify without assistance from the Court. Any person not meeting these criteria will not be heard. All documents submitted for the Judge's approval must be thoroughly completed, meaning no blanks.

All documents that are signed by Judge Barker must be taken to the clerk's office to be filed and processed.
