Design is complete by Atkins. Floodplain impact study is complete. Environmental due diligence is complete. Survey and geotechnical investigation work is complete. A presentation on the project was given at the Brushy Creek MUD Town Hall on April 4, 2019. Meetings with affected property owners were held in November 2018. The construction contract was awarded to DeNucci Contractor. Construction began in February 2021 and is expected to be complete in late 2021.

Intermittent Lane Closures: There will be daily one-lane, two-way traffic control at various locations on both Hairy Man Road and Brushy Creek Road from Sam Bass Road to Brushy Bend Drive until project completion. We anticipate this will be approximately the middle of October.

Detour: As part of the Great Oaks Bridge project, Williamson County’s contractor Denucci Constructors will be implementing a roadway closure on Hairy Man Road from Sam Bass Road to Great Oaks Drive from Nov. 8, 2021, to approximately mid-Aug., 2022, weather pending.  Traffic will be detoured to Brightwater and Creek Bend Blvd.  Local traffic on Hairy Man Rd will be allowed from Sam Bass Road to Alto Lane.  This detour is necessary to provide safe passage during the construction necessary to complete the project.  Minimal delays are expected.
