Open Records Request

Public information requests and complaints must be responded to within a statutorily mandated deadline. When responding to a Public Information Act request, the goal of the Williamson County Attorney’s Office is to provide the relevant public information as quickly as possible, while at the same time protecting privileged documents from public disclosure that would interfere with the investigation or prosecution of criminal cases. ·

Submission

Requests for information must be in writing. In order to process your request quickly, please specifically describe the information you are seeking and identify the office or department maintaining the requested information. Please also include your name and contact information (address, telephone number, e-mail address), as we may need to contact you during the processing of your request with questions or clarification requests. Please submit your written request for information by one of the following methods. No other methods are approved or accepted.
