Judge Stacy Hackenberg will perform ceremonies for opposite and same-sex couples at a location of your choice. Due to the spread of COVID-19, the courthouse grounds are not available as a wedding location at this time, so the judge will travel to you. For more information, please email [email protected]. Congratulations!
The Judge will come to you to perform your ceremony and requires the guest list limited to seven individuals. This is to comply with the requirement that the gathering not exceed 10 people: the Judge, the marrying couple, and up to seven guests.
Weddings conducted in Williamson County cost $75. Weddings performed outside of Williamson County cost $150. The Judge will not travel beyond Williamson, Travis, Bastrop, Bell, Burnet, Lee, and Milam Counties.
The Wedding Plans form must be completed and submitted before the wedding will be scheduled, pending the judge's prior appointments. If the wedding date you've chosen falls on a weekday, the judge may not be available to officiate your wedding until after 5:30 PM when court is over.
The fees for the ceremony will be paid in cash directly to the judge on the date of the ceremony. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected] 24 hours in advance to receive a refund.
