Title Service Licensing Program

Pursuant to Texas Transportation Code 520 the Williamson County Tax Assessor-Collector has proposed rules that once adopted, will enact the Title Service Licensing Program.  This licensing program will require Title Service Companies and Title Service Runners to be licensed to conduct business in our offices. 

You may review the proposed language on the Texas Register via the Texas Secretary of State website starting January 24, 2020.

This new option is designed to save you time and money. Simply email your  monthly VIT statement by the 10th of the each month & we will do the rest. When you sign up for the bank draft program it will take effect immediately. Our bank draft program will eliminate standing in line, travel, writing checks, and postage. We do all the work for you!!

To take advantage of this FREE service, complete an Motor Vehicle Automatic Bank Draft Authorization Form and return it to our office. The automatic payment option is also available for dealer transactions processed through the Georgetown dealer office.
