Williamson County, in coordination with the Texas Department of Transportation, is proposing to reconstruct and improve the interchange of FM 3349/CR 101 and US 79, from CR 404 to CR 395 in Williamson County, Texas. This notice advises the public that a draft environmental assessment (EA) is available for public review and that Williamson County and TxDOT are affording an opportunity for a public hearing on the proposed project.
The proposed project includes widening the existing undivided two‐lane FM 3349 and CR 101 roadways into a four‐lane divided roadway, constructing an elevated crossing over US 79 and the Union Pacific Railroad, and constructing a local access road “jug handle” to provide connectivity between US 79 and FM 3349/CR 101.
Project materials are available for review below including the draft EA, maps, notice, and drawings showing the project location. These materials are also available in person Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Williamson County Road and Bridge Division, 3151 S. E. Inner Loop, Suite B, Georgetown, Texas 78626. Materials will be available for review through Nov. 3, 2021.
