Fire Marshal Hank Jones

Fire Marshal Hank Jones was appointed as the Williamson County Fire Marshal on October 29, 2019. Mr. Jones has over twenty-five years of experience in his public safety career. Mr. Jones began his fire service career in 1991 working as a Firefighter/ Emergency Medical Technician for the City of Belton. In 1998, he was hired full time by the City of Georgetown. During his time with the city, he served in many roles including Fire Fighter/Peace Officer and EMT Paramedic. Mr. Jones was instrumental in the adoption of the City of Georgetown fire code while serving in the Fire and Life Safety Division. As Battalion Chief, he served in the assignments of EMS Chief and Training Division Chief.

Mr. Jones holds an Associate of Technology Degree and currently holds Advanced Fire Inspector, Fire Investigator, Arson Investigator and Hazardous Materials Technician certifications from the Texas Commission of Fire Protection; Basic Peace Officer TCLOSE certification and Licensed Paramedic from the Texas Department of State Health Services.

Assitant Fire Marshal Michael Wofford

Assistant Chief Michael Wofford – Special Operations has been with Williamson County for more than 10 years and oversees the Hazmat/Special Operations Division. Michael has served as a firefighter for the City of Cedar Park and Hutto and brings over 24 years of Fire Service experience. Michael holds an Associate Degree in Fire Protection Technology as well as several Master level Certifications through the Texas Commission on Fire Protection.

 
Captain Trenton Hernandez
Captain Trenton Hernandez

Captain Trenton Hernandez – Special Operations began his fire service career with the City of Taylor Fire Department in 2004 where he worked his way up to the rank of Driver/Engineer before joining the Williamson County Fire Marshal Special Operations Division in April 2018.

Mr. Hernandez holds a Basic Fire Investigator and Hazardous Materials Technician certification with the Texas Commission of Fire Protection and is certified as an Emergency Medical Technician from the Texas Department of State Health Services. Mr. Hernandez served on the Taylor Fire Department Honor Guard Team during his employment with the city.
