Design is finished and environmental work is underway by Brown & Gay Engineering. The right-of-way acquisition process and utility coordination is ongoing. An interlocal agreement with the City of Taylor was approved by Taylor City Council on August 25, 2016, and by the Commissioners Court on October 25, 2016. An interlocal agreement with Jonah Water was approved by the Commissioners Court on February 25, 2020. The contractor is James Construction. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on June 29, 2020. Construction is anticipated to be completed in late 2021. The bridge on CR 101 over Mustang Creek is expected to be closed, with a detour route available, starting on May 18, 2021. The closure of CR 101 between US 79 and Chandler Road at the bridge is anticipated to be in place for 90 days. A copy of the detour can be found here.
James Construction is scheduled to reconstruct the intersection of CR 101 and CR 368 has been moved to Thursday, May 6, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to inclement weather. Expect minor delays to traffic during this work. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes our residents.
