Williamson County Tax Office Lobbies Closed April 20

All Williamson County Tax Office lobbies will be closed to the public on Wednesday, April 20, due to a staffing shortage.  Drive-thrus at the Round Rock and Cedar Park locations will remain open.  Office lobbies will reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday, April 21.

Williamson County Judge Issues Disaster Declaration for April 12 Storm

Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell issued an order declaring a local state of disaster for Williamson County due to the severe weather event on April 12, 2022. The disaster declaration is in effect for seven days unless extended by the Commissioners Court. For a copy of the disaster declaration, click here. Anyone with damage can report it to the state through this link https://damage.tdem.texas.gov/ and select April Severe Weather. Governor Greg Abbott has issued disaster declarations for Bell County and Williamson County in response to severe weather that impacted the communities overnight on April 12. Williamson County and Bluebonnet Trails Address Rising Mental Health Needs in the County

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll not only on people’s physical health, but their mental health as well. In order to better address mental health care needs in the community, the Williamson County Commissioners Court partnered with Bluebonnet Trails Community Services (BTCS), the local mental health authority in Williamson County, on several projects that were funded through the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act or American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). One of those projects, the law enforcement Diversion Center, is ready to open its doors this week.
