he Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is looking for pet-loving candidates to fill several vacant positions. Anyone interested in learning about working for the animal shelter is invited to attend a job fair on Thursday, April 14, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the shelter, 1855 S.E. The Williamson County Purchasing Department is hosting is first ever vendor forum on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Businesses are invited to attend to learn how to do business with Williamson County.

Williamson County offices will be closed on Friday, April 15, 2022, for Good Friday.

The Williamson County Commissioners Court approved a countywide burn ban for 90 days. County Judge Bill Gravell has the authority to lift the order banning outdoor burning if conditions improve. For additional restrictions, requirements and details relating to the Order Prohibiting Outdoor Burning, the Order may be viewed here.
