Williamson County Lifts Burn Ban

County Judge Bill Gravell has lifted the burn ban for unincorporated areas of Williamson County today, Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 5 p.m. Please be cautious with any outdoor burning activity.  Outdoor burning must be conducted under state regulations found in Texas Administrative Code Section 30 TAC 111.219. Public Affairs Office Earns Golden Post Award for Virtual Ribbon-Cutting Video

The Commissioners Court recognized Williamson County Public Affairs for receiving the 2022 Golden Post Award for Best Use of Long-Form Video at the Government in Social Media Conference. Williamson County Public Affairs entered the virtual ribbon-cutting video for the Brushy Creek Regional Trail Phase 5. The video was created by Lauren Gammon and featured a parody of “Be Our Guest” written by Commissioner Terry Cook and sung by Cathie Sheridan.
