The office of Justice of the Peace Pct. 1 in Round Rock will be closed on Tuesday, June 14, from noon to 5 p.m. for staff training. The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is again over capacity in its medium-to-large adult dogs and now, with kitten season in full swing, space for the influx of cats and kittens has run short. In an effort to alleviate the space crisis, WCRAS is hosting a free adoption event, thanks to a generous grant from Petco Love, all weekend, June 11-12, for all adoptable animals. 

Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) is teaming up with national nonprofit Petco Love and Skechers with its BOBS from Skechers philanthropic footwear collection, to put the focus on the fun in fostering pets. Pet fostering is lifesaving and critical for animal shelters, particularly during the busy summer season.

 

The Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 offices will be closed for court personnel training from Monday, June 6 through Friday, June 10. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, June 13.

The Quarry Splash Pad at Southwest Williamson County Regional Park, 3005 C.R. 175, Leander, is open for the summer season through September 5, 2022. The splash pad is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The daily admission fee is $2 per person, credit cards only. The splash pad is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, except for Labor Day.
