A free household hazardous waste event is taking place Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gupton Stadium Parking Lot in Cedar Park.

The Williamson County Parks Department is hosting a Volunteer Work Day to assist with projects along the Brushy Creek Regional Trail on Saturday, April 30, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. 

All Williamson County Tax Office lobbies will be closed to the public on Wednesday, April 20, due to a staffing shortage.  Drive-thrus at the Round Rock and Cedar Park locations will remain open.  Office lobbies will reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday, April 21.

he Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is looking for pet-loving candidates to fill several vacant positions. Anyone interested in learning about working for the animal shelter is invited to attend a job fair on Thursday, April 14, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the shelter, 1855 S.E.
