Williamson County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is participating with more than 40 other EMS agencies across the country in a quality improvement project to help make responses safer for the community and EMS personnel. Part of that evaluation is assessing public perception of lights and siren operation. Williamson County EMS is asking residents to take three minutes to answer a few questions regarding their perspectives on EMS vehicles using lights and siren operation. The survey is available from May 12 to June 30 on the EMS website www.wilco.org/EMS.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter wishes to thank the community for its tremendous response to its urgent pleas for medium-to-large adult dog adopters and fosters.Through the end of the month, WCRAS is offering Name Your Price adoptions for all medium-to-large adult dogs and adult cats for active duty and veteran members of our armed forces. Civilians can take advantage of $25 adoptions for those same pets when they schedule an appointment by emailing adoption@wilco.org. All adoptable pets may be previewed at wilcopets.org.

Williamson County offices will be closed on Monday, May 30, in observance of Memorial Day. All county operations will resume regular house on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
