The Williamson County Purchasing Department is hosting is first ever vendor forum on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. Businesses are invited to attend to learn how to do business with Williamson County.

Williamson County offices will be closed on Friday, April 15, 2022, for Good Friday.

April is National County Government Month. Williamson County will highlight its departments to raise public awareness about the services many departments provide. View our videos here. 

The Williamson County Commissioners Court approved a countywide burn ban for 90 days. County Judge Bill Gravell has the authority to lift the order banning outdoor burning if conditions improve. For additional restrictions, requirements and details relating to the Order Prohibiting Outdoor Burning, the Order may be viewed here.

After the end of the legal process, which resulted in pets being relinquished into the shelter’s care, the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) is placing the last of the 41 dogs and cats it received from a single location last month up for adoption.
