Williamson County Precinct 4 Commissioner Russ Boles was joined by Granger Mayor Monica Stojanik, Granger City Administrator Christy Bradshaw and others to break ground on the Davilla Street culvert project in Granger. Williamson County will be replacing the culvert located on a main street in Granger that provides access over the railroad tracks.
Williamson County’s Election website was rated as “Outstanding” by the League of Women Voters of Texas in their 2022 Primary Election County Website Review. Williamson County is one of only 56 out of 254 Texas counties to receive this rating.
Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector Larry Gaddes announced a new program designed to help homeowners stay in their homes. The American Rescue Plan passed by Congress provides money to help homeowners impacted by the pandemic avoid foreclosure of their homestead.
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will open one hour late on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 1 p.m. for staff training.
The office of Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 will be closed on Monday, March 7, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for court personnel training.
