Williamson County Precinct 4 Commissioner Russ Boles was joined by Coupland Mayor Jack Piper and others to break ground on constructing improvements in Coupland Monday, Feb. 7. 

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) remains closed Friday, February 4, 2022, due to the severe weather. It will reopen Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 1 p.m

Williamson County offices will be closed on Thursday, February 3, and Friday, February 4, due to forecasted severe winter weather in the region.

County Judge Bill Gravell signed a local disaster declaration due to the imminent threat of widespread or severe damage, injury, or loss of life or property resulting from severe winter weather conditions. The declaration will end at 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4. View the declaration here.
