Lighting of the Square

On Friday, November 29, kick-off the holiday season with our annual Lighting of the Square, traditionally held at 5:30 p.m. the Friday after Thanksgiving! Sing along with the Austin Carolers to your favorite holiday tunes! Join Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell and Georgetown Mayor Dale Ross as we help Santa countdown and flip on the holiday lights on The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas! Williamson County Brown Santa will offer pictures with Santa inside the courthouse following the lighting for a donation to Brown Santa of an unwrapped toy, wrapping paper, or a monetary donation. The downtown shops will be open late, so plan to get in some unique holiday shopping. This is a free event. The downtown holiday lights will come on every evening around 5:30 p.m. through December 31.
