Property tax statements are being mailed Oct. 17, 2022, according to Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector Larry Gaddes. However, bills for property owners in Leander ISD will be delayed until after the school district's tax rate election on Nov. 8

The Williamson County Fire Marshal’s office is teaming up with the National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA) to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week TM (FPW), October 9-15, 2022. Friday, October 7, is an Ozone Action Day! Sensitive groups, such as the elderly, children or people with asthma, should limit time outdoors. Please limit your driving to before 8 a.m., especially avoiding use of vehicles between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. as ozone is created most during these hours, and after 5 p.m., if possible.
