The Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector’s office will be instituting new hours of operation effective February 6, 2017. In order to reduce comp time and better serve the public, the Tax Assessor/Collector’s office will implement the following hours of operation:

Hours of Operation:
Monday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Locations:
Georgetown – 904 South Main
Round Rock – 1801 East Old Settlers Blvd. Suite 115
Cedar Park – 350 Discovery Blvd, Suite 101

The Taylor annex located at 412 Vance Street, Suite 1 will keep the current hours of Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector Larry Gaddes stated, "Our staff routinely work overtime to keep up with the demand placed on it by Williamson County's growing population. Because the County doesn't allow overtime, employees must reduce their work schedule by the amount of overtime worked which leaves a shortage of staff during business hours to serve customers. This change will help us improve customer service and reduce wait times."
