Williamson County’s contractor Denucci Constructors is beginning work on the Great Oaks Drive Bridge project. For safety, the Brushy Creek Regional Trail near the project area will be closed starting as early as Sunday, Nov. 14, for approximately nine months. To view the closure map, click here. Williamson County Redistricting Map Available

Williamson County has made the adopted precinct redistricting map for commissioners, justices of the peace and constables available on our website. Follow this link to view the maps.  www.wilco.org/redistricting2021. A special called meeting of the Commissioners Court will be held Friday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. to approve a resolution and the metes and bounds reflected in the adopted map. The Commissioners Court also will conduct the canvass of election returns for the Nov. 2 election at the special called meeting on Nov. 12. Commissioners Court Approves Settlement in Opioid Litigation

The Williamson County Commissioners Court approved a settlement in the County’s opioid litigation against pharmaceutical manufacturer Johnson & Johnson that will bring over $314,000 directly to the County this year in recognition of its past opioid remediation. The settlement gives the County access to regional abatement program funds of more than $6.3 million. In 2018, the County filed a claim against Johnson & Johnson and other defendants responsible for bringing an oversupply of opioids into Williamson County.
