Williamson County offices will be closed on Monday, September 5, in observance of Labor Day. County offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 6.
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will be open regular business hours, noon to 6 p.m., on Labor Day. The shelter will be offering Name Your Price adoptions for medium and large adult dogs and cats starting on Saturday, September 3, through Monday, September 5. To view adoptable animals, go to pets.wilco.org, and then email adoption@wilco.org to make your appointment. The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is located at 1855 SE Inner Loop in Georgetown.
Williamson County’s Quarry Splash Pad will be open on Labor Day and then close for the year. The splash pad is located in the Southwest Williamson County Regional Park, 3005 C.R. 175, Leander, and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The cost is $2 per person by credit card only.
