The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is hosting a kitten shower in anticipation of the upcoming kitten season. Co-hosted by Critical Kitten Care Fund, the shower will be held at the shelter on Sunday, March 26, 2022, from 1-3 p.m. at the shelter’s Services Center.
Kitten season is an approximately seven-month period during which the shelter sees a drastic increase in the amount of kittens brought to the shelter (over 1,500 in that period alone, typically). The kitten shower will raise funds and needed supplies to ensure we are ready to meet that need.
This fun family event will include a bake sale, crafts and games for the kids (with prizes for the games!), adoptable kittens, door prizes, plus vendors and a food truck. Admission to the event is an item from our wishlist or a monetary donation. Proof of an in-kind or monetary donation will work for entry, provided the item/donation receipt is from the week of March 21, 2022.
