SGRR Phase 2 and Phase 3 Road Rehabilitation

Williamson County is moving forward with Phases 2 and 3 of the roadway rehabilitation in San Gabriel River Ranch as shown on the attached exhibit. Phase 2 consists of rehabilitating the pavement structure on Lariat Circle, Corral Lane, Chaparral Drive, and Mustang Circle.  You will start seeing Road and Bridge Division crews in the next week trimming trees and preparing for roadway work to start immediately after. The construction is expected to be complete by the end of November.

Phase 3 of the rehabilitation will also begin within the next couple weeks on River Road and Old Windmill Road. Weather permitting, the project will take approximately three months to complete.  The purpose of this project is to stabilize the pavement structure and improve the drainage condition of River Rd and Old Windmill Rd.  The project will not change the existing width of the roadways; however, it will require ditch grading and replacement of existing roadway cross culverts to better accommodate existing drainage patterns.  A short temporary detour, using both River Rd and Old Windmill Rd, will be in place during construction to accommodate the through traffic. Local traffic will have access to existing driveways at all times for the duration of the project.

The Williamson County Road and Bridge Division is also continuing to work on the repair and reopening of San Gabriel Ranch Road at Lackey Creek.  Although you do not yet see work starting on the bridge, progress is underway and as promised, the road will be repaired and reopened.  More updates will be provided shortly.
