Household Hazardous Waste Event for Williamson County Residents

A free household hazardous waste event is taking place Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gupton Stadium Parking Lot in Cedar Park. Williamson County Residents can drop off their hazardous waste free of charge. No appointments are required. 

RESIDENTS CAN BRING:
Paint (5 gallon limit)
Acids
Used motor oil filters, antifreeze, batteries
Transmission & brake fluid
Lighter fluid, solvents, varnish
Pool chemicals
Auto tires (up to 21", rims removed), limit 5
Lawn and garden chemicals, herbicides, pesticides
Cleaning products: polish, oven cleaner, drain opener, stain remover
Household products labeled "caution", "warning", or "poison"
CFL bulbs 

DON'T BRING:
Agricultural chemicals
Dioxins
Containers larger than 5 gallons
Medical & pharmaceutical items
Tires with rims attached
Explosives, fireworks, ammunition
Asbestos-containing material
Industrial, commerical or business waste
Radioactive materials (smoke detectors)
Propane cylinders of any kind
Compressed gases
Brush
Electronics or TVs
