Williamson County and Round Rock Hold Virtual Ribbon Cutting for North Mays Street Extension

Drivers between Georgetown and Round Rock can take a new road home this evening. The extension of North Mays from Paloma Drive to Oakmont Drive will officially open at 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 16. Officials from Williamson County and the City of Round Rock held a virtual ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the project that has been under construction for two years.

Williamson County Rolls Out New Jury Selection Software, Reducing In-Person Contact

The Williamson County district and county courts at law have acquired state- of- the- art software called Jury Manager from Tyler Technologies, that will serve as the County’s new jury summons platform moving forward. The system will facilitate jury selection while helping reduce the spread of COVID-19 by eliminating the need to gather in large numbers of potential jurors.
