The Williamson County Parks Department will be upgrading its park reservation and registration software platform, effective Monday, October 4, 2021. During the scheduled upgrade period, the Parks Department will not be accepting reservation requests between 5 p.m. on Monday, September 27, through 8 a.m. on Monday, October 4.

Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter Joins NBCUniversal’s Clear the Shelters™ Adopt and Donate Campaign on Sept. 18

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter has joined NBCUniversal’s local Clear the Shelters™ 2021 pet adoption campaign. This marks the seventh consecutive year that NBC and Telemundo-owned stations have hosted their pet adoption campaign to communities nationwide. Since 2015, in partnership with affiliate stations and local animal shelters and rescues, the Clear the Shelters campaign has helped more than half a million pets find new homes.

Household Hazardous Waste Cleanup Event to be Held Sept. 25

In partnership with Waste Management, Inc., Williamson County will host a household hazardous waste cleanup event on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the Hutto High School Football Stadium, located at 573 Chris Kelley Blvd., Hutto, Texas 78634. This event is open to Williamson County residents only. Residents should bring proof of Williamson County residency (driver’s license or billing statement).
