Due to the Christmas stroll exhibits and temporary rest facilities, close proximity parking to the Georgetown Tax Office will be limited on Friday, Dec. 2.
Williamson County Veteran Services offices will be closed Thursday, Dec. 1 and Friday, Dec. 2, for state training. The office will reopen on Monday, Dec. 5.
The Williamson County District Attorney’s Office is inviting the community to attend the 10th annual Tree of Angels ceremony to honor victims of violent crime. The ceremony will take place Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m. at the historic courthouse, 710 S. Main St., in Georgetown.
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) will be closed on Thursday, November 24, for Thanksgiving and will reopen with normal business hours on November 25, offering Name Your Price adoptions for all medium-to-large adult dogs and adult cats! Small dogs, puppies and kittens are just $75 to adopt. Email adoption@wilco.org to schedule an appointment to meet the pet of your dreams! Walk-ins are also welcome between noon to 6 p.m.
