Texas Corrections Association Board of Directors Appointment

Williamson County Community Supervision and Corrections Department (Adult Probation) Director Jameson Pennington has been appointed to the Texas Corrections Association (TCA) Board of Directors.

“I’ve been a part of TCA for several years, and I'm proud to have the opportunity to serve in this capacity for such a highly respected organization. I look forward to having a larger role in where community corrections agencies statewide are heading, and I'm excited to be part of implementing change that will have a direct, positive impact on community corrections in Williamson County,” said Mr. Pennington. “This will give Williamson County CSCD an even greater chance to positively impact our Williamson County communities. We will continue to take every opportunity to bring new evidence based, innovative practices to Williamson County. This is necessary to ensure that the CSCD continues to do our part to increase public safety and provide client centered supervision practices and services.”

The Texas Corrections Association provides a forum for promoting quality correctional practices through professional growth, leadership, mentorship and education. TCA is organized to anticipate and respond to the needs of its members, clients and the public. TCA strives to build public awareness, recognition, knowledge and support for the corrections profession and the corrections field. First and foremost, TCA promotes ethical practices and a code of ethics for the benefit of the corrections professional and the general public.
