Jason Brown Named General Manager of Williamson County Expo Center

Jason Brown has been named the new general manager of the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor.

Brown has been serving for the past three years as the assistant general manager for the Expo Center, where he gained valuable knowledge and experience in the operation and management of this growing and popular venue.

Brown attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a degree in Agricultural Economics.  Before finding his way to Williamson County, he spent several years in land operations in the oil and gas industry.

“His love for and experience with the agricultural community along with his event and facility management knowledge makes him a natural fit to lead the growing Expo Center operation into its next chapter,” said Russell Fishbeck, senior director of the Williamson County Parks Department.

“It is a privilege to serve Williamson County as general manager of the Expo Center. As assistant general manager, I embraced the opportunity to learn and interact with many that facilitated the current growth of the Expo Center.  This facility is a great asset to the county and has enormous potential,” said Jason Brown. “As general manager, I look forward to making the Expo Center’s future a reality and success.”
