Williamson County offices will be closed for Veterans Day on Monday, November 12, 2018. The Williamson County and Cities Health District offices will be open. The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will be open regular hours on Monday from noon to 6 p.m., 1855 S.E. Inner Loop, Georgetown.
For Veterans Day weekend, adopt an adult dog or cat for only $4. The dogs and cats of Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter are ready to deploy to their newest mission: "Paw-triots 4 Patriots." Their mission includes belly rub preparedness, bird watching expertise, mailman surveillance, hidden dog bone extraction, and more. These dogs and cats may not be as brave and bold as our military veterans, but they do vow to be as loyal. Kittens and puppies are only $75 to adopt. Adoption special runs from Saturday, November 10, through Monday, November 12.
