Williamson County’s Election website was rated as “Outstanding” by the League of Women Voters of Texas in their 2022 Primary Election County Website Review. Williamson County is one of only 56 out of 254 Texas counties to receive this rating.

Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector Larry Gaddes announced a new program designed to help homeowners stay in their homes. The American Rescue Plan passed by Congress provides money to help homeowners impacted by the pandemic avoid foreclosure of their homestead. 

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will open one hour late on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 1 p.m. for staff training.

The office of Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 will be closed on Monday, March 7, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for court personnel training.

Williamson County Precinct 4 Commissioner Russ Boles was joined by Thrall Mayor Troy Marx, Thrall ISD Superintendent Tommy Hooker and others for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the S. Bounds Street Improvement Project.
