Design was completed by Binkley & Barfield. An open house was held on Thursday June 30, 2016. A summary of the open house can be found under Project Documents. Construction has been funded by TxDOT. The contractor is Dan Williams Company. Construction began summer 2019 and is anticipated to be completed in late 2020.

Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) opened the new northbound I-35 entrance ramp south of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and the Bud Stockton Loop exit ramp (#274). (See map.) This means the I-35 from Corn Hill (Bud Stockton Loop) to FM 972 project is now in its final configuration, with final paving and striping scheduled for spring 2021. This project improves safety, mobility and connectivity by reversing all entrance and exit ramps within the 6-mile project limits. To learn more about this project and the Mobility35 Program, please visit My35Construction.org.
