Design was completed by WSB. The contractor is Joe Bland Construction. Environmental work was finalized by SWCA. A groundbreaking ceremony was held Friday, August 2, 2019. Construction was completed and the road was open to traffic on July 10, 2020. The safety improvement plans include adding a little over
half a mile of shared use path from the Parkside neighborhood to Leander Road
for shared use between pedestrians and bicycle riders. This portion of the
project was completed in August.
