Williamson County offices will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. County offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8; however, the Commissioners Court meeting originally scheduled for that day has been canceled. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, September 15, at 9:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom on the second floor of the historic courthouse, located at 710 S. Main Street, in Georgetown. The meeting can be viewed live at https://www.wilco.org/livemeetings and click the “Live” tab.  

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is taking part in the Labor Day celebration by offering adoption specials which include:  

·        Seniors (5+ years old) are free to adopt  

·        BOGO kittens for $75  

·        Large adult dogs and cats for $25 

·        Small dogs and puppies for $75
