A temporary pedestrian fence has been placed around the grassy areas of the Williamson County Courthouse. It will be in place for approximately three weeks. The fence is an effort to minimize foot traffic, which will allow the grass to recover from recent community events and daily activity. Heavy foot traffic compacts the soil and damages the grass. The heavily damaged areas of the sod are being replaced with new sod. A mix of compost and topsoil is also being applied to help fill in voids and feed the lawn. This is all part of a program that was developed to keep the grass healthy year-long for everyone to enjoy.
