The Williamson County Conservation Foundation is offering an online “Leave No Trace for Williamson County Preserves” training for people who want to access County preserve areas.  The class will be held via WebEx (online webinar) on Monday, June 14, 2021, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

“Leave No Trace” is a program by the Center for Outdoor Ethics.  The Williamson County Conservation Foundation is a partner with the Center for Outdoor Ethics and has authorization for use of logos, training materials and other benefits. The “Leave No Trace for Williamson County Preserves” training allows participants to hike, bird watch and enjoy Williamson County preserves, such as Twin Springs Preserve. Everyone older than 12 needs their own pass; children under 12 must be accompanied by a pass-holding adult.

Providing the class online allows for more people to participate. No pre-registration is required. To participate, log onto www.webex.com, look for the “Join a Meeting” link and use the following information when prompted:
Meeting number (access code): 1873 48 3130
Meeting password: KgtKRWjU329

The meeting will go live approximately 10 minutes ahead of the posted time to allow everyone time to log in and get set up. Participants will be logged in and muted with video off to conserve online resources. Questions during the session should be submitted by using the “Chat” function and will be answered as time permits.

For questions, please send an email to wccf@wilco.org.
