The Williamson County Tax Assessor-Collector’s office in Taylor will be closed on July 20, 2021, for maintenance. Please utilize one of the other tax offices for assistance. For information or questions about property taxes or motor vehicle transactions, visit the County Tax Assessor/Collector’s website at www.wilco.org/taxoffice.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will be closing early, at 4 p.m. on July 4 to prepare the animals for the festivities. We apologize for the error. The shelter will return to its normal business hours on July 5, 2021.

Kitten season is in full swing, and the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) needs your help finding them their fur-ever home. Beginning today, June 28, and running through July 2, 2021, WCRAS is hosting their 2nd Annual Name A Kit10 Fundraiser. Williamson County celebrated the completion of two safety improvement projects along Ronald Reagan Boulevard at entrances to Sun City Texas with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, June 16. The two projects provide increased safety on Ronald Reagan Boulevard at the intersections of Silver Spur Boulevard and Sun City Boulevard.
