Williamson County has once again affirmed its AAA bond rating, the highest rating possible, with both rating agencies Fitch Ratings and Standard & Poor Global. Securing a bond rating is the first step prior to issuing debt. On March 21, the Commissioners Court approved $150 million in projects which will be funded by a Tax Anticipation Note for road projects and the expansion/renovation of the Juvenile Justice Center.

The CHP team is comprised of three paramedics. In 2022, they received a total of 281 patient referrals, an increase of 21.7% over the previous year. Patients are selected to enroll in the program through referrals. Referrals come from hospitals, first responder agencies, partner organizations such as Bluebonnet Trails Community Services and the Williamson County and Cities Health District, or by being identified as high utilizers of EMS. A high utilizer is someone who has three or more calls to EMS for service in the previous 90 days. Referrals from the public are not eligible.

The office of Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 will be closed for court personnel staff development and training on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Normal business hours will resume on Thursday, April 13, 2023.

The puppies are blooming! In the past few days, more puppies than normal have been brought to the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS), and so the shelter is offering free adoptions for all adoptable dogs on Friday and Saturday, April 7 and 8.
