The Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD) announced five new positive COVID-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the County’s total to 27. Please see the daily report for details. At this stage information is very limited, WCCHD and Williamson County will share more as it becomes available and necessary to protect the health of the public. 

If you have symptoms of respiratory illness including cough, fever and shortness of breath, please contact your health care provider. In a proactive effort to reduce the number of new COVID-19 cases in Williamson County and in Central Texas, County Judge Bill Gravell has issued a Stay Home Stay Safe Order for all individuals in Williamson County. This Order takes effect at 11:59 p.m. on March 24, 2020 and will continue through 11:59 p.m. on April 13, 2020, subject to the limited exceptions. The Stay Home Stay Safe order was amended to match Governor Abbott's orders and was extended through April 30, 2020. The directives are intended to help control the spread of the coronavirus by keeping people isolated at home.
