The Open House for Pavilion Clubhouse was held Thursday, Nov. 7 at St. Richards Episcopal Church in Round Rock

The Pavilion Clubhouse of Round Rock helps persons with mental illness or struggling with substance abuse break up the isolation they are living in, helps them find a job they are happy with, and helps them begin a new, hopeful life. The event was held at the Georgetown Annex Building at 100 Wilco Way.

The theme for this year's Benefit Fair was Favorite Sports Teams and Commissioner Cook was invited to take photos with employees and retirees at the photo booth. Employees had the opportunity to learn about plan changes, complete online health risk assessments, make 2020 benefit elections, get their flu shots and meet vendors that partner with  Wilco.

The public event was held on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019 at the Williamson County's Jester Annex in Round Rock

Commissioner Cook is wearing her richly decorated witch's hat from a previous event and is standing next to staffer Doris Sanchez's decorated vehicle.Commissioner Cook's Halloween skeleton is sitting in the driver's seat wearingd big orange sunglasses and a tie.The Trunk or Treat and outdoor movie event was a huge success thanks to Precinct 1 Constable Vinnie Cherrone and his deputies and staff.

Hundreds attended and waited in long lines for candy, photos and balloons.
