LifeSteps Council on Alcohol and Drugs purchased the Med Return Box and Larry Gaddes, Wilco's Tax Assessor Collector, supported its placement outside the tax office.

To prevent medication misuse and accidental overdose, LifeSteps Council on Acool and Drugs purchased the permanent medication drop-off box shown here through a partnership with the Williamson County Sheriff's office.

The box is available to Round Rock residents at the Williamson County Jester Annex. 

LifeSteps recognized the support of both Commissioner Cook and Larry Gaddes, Wilco's Tax Assessor Collector. 

Commissioner Cook is explaining what her role is in the county and what counties do for their citizens to members of two Cub Scout dens in Pack 174.

The Scouts are in 4th and 5th grades and attend Great Oaks Elementary.

There are four boys in one den and two girls in the other. 

The meeting was held on Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Cat Hollow Park Pavilion.

All proceeds will benefit Brown Santa.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is planning a “Trunk-or-Treat” event for families and children in our community to benefit a great cause.   

Sheriff Mike Gleason said they need 20 sponsors by October 8 to make this event a success!    

Williamson County Brown Santa needs “Trunk Sponsors” to purchase a spot in this event.

Election for the new board was held before Commissioner Cook discussed construction around Precinct 1 and answered questions about the upcoming new sites for Apple and Samsung.

Newly elected members of the Plantation at Round Rock HOA Board are Sylvia Fuller, President; Helen Dillion, Vice President, Vijay R. Persaud, Treasurer; and Elizabeth (Beth) Hochhalter, Secretary.
