Texas Health and Human Services Commission has launched a 24/7 statewide mental health support line to help Texans experiencing anxiety, stress or emotional challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This new resource offers COVID-19-related mental health support for all Texans. People can call the Statewide COVID-19 Mental Health Support Line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week toll-free at 833-986-1919.

The Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD) announced seven new positive COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing the County’s total to 34. Please see the daily report for details. In a proactive effort to reduce the number of new COVID-19 cases in Williamson County and in Central Texas, County Judge Bill Gravell has issued a Stay Home Stay Safe Order for all individuals in Williamson County. This Order takes effect at 11:59 p.m. on March 24, 2020 and will continue through 11:59 p.m. on April 13, 2020, subject to the limited exceptions. The Stay Home Stay Safe order was amended to match Governor Abbott's orders and was extended through April 30, 2020. The directives are intended to help control the spread of the coronavirus by keeping people isolated at home.
