In this edition of WILCOunty Line, learn how to do business with WilCo and where you can access services on MLK Jr. Day when offices are closed.

In celebration of Champ's Day, the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will have a $3 adoption event from January 13 to 16 for all champions who show up to adopt one of the incredible adult superhero shelter dogs and cats. To preview adoptable pets, go to wilcopets.org, then send an email to adoption@wilco.org to schedule a priority-service appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Williamson County offices will be closed on Monday, January 16, in observance of the Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. Day holiday. While county offices are closed,  residents can utilize the online services that are being offered in various departments. To access the latest information from each department, please visit www.wilco.org. 

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is offering $10 adoptions so that the community can make a big impact in the New Year. All medium-to-large adult dogs – all BIG dogs – are just $10 to adopt this week! To preview adoptable pets, go to wilcopets.org.

The Williamson County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the apartment complex fire that broke out at 3701 Quick Hill Road in Williamson County. The fire broke out at approximately 8:01 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023. Round Rock, Pflugerville and Austin fire departments responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
