Sept. 1, 2021 (Williamson County, TX) – Williamson County offices will be closed on Monday, September 6, 2021, in observance of Labor Day.  County offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 7. The Commissioners Court will not be meeting on Tuesday, September 7. Their next meeting will be on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will be open regular business hours, noon to 6 p.m., on Labor Day. In honor of those who work their tails off, the shelter has Name Your Price adoptions for medium and large adult dogs and adult cats beginning Friday, September 3, through Monday, September 6, for those who schedule an appointment or $25 for walk-ins. Small dogs, puppies and kittens are $50 with an appointment or $75 for walk-ins. To view adoptable animals, go to pets.wilco.org, and then email adoption@wilco.org to make your appointment. The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is located at 1855 SE Inner Loop in Georgetown.   

Williamson County’s Quarry Splash Pad will be open on Labor Day and then close for the year. The splash pad is located in the Southwest Williamson County Regional Park, 3005 C.R. 175, Leander, and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The cost is $2 per person by credit card only.
