February 4, 2022 (Williamson County, Texas) – The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) remains closed today, Friday, February 4, 2022, due to the severe weather. Its Adoption and Services Centers will re-open on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 1 p.m., one hour later than normal business hours, to give staff more time to arrive safely in the morning.

Residents interested in adopting are encouraged to take advantage of the appointment system to reduce wait times. Adoptable pets can be seen at wilcopets.org. To schedule an appointment to meet an adoptable pet, email adoption@wilco.org.

Business hours are anticipated to return to normal on Sunday, February 6, 2022.
