Williamson County and the City of Georgetown are inviting the public to help paint a new mural celebrating the county and city’s 175th birthday.

This March, Williamson County with celebrate its 175^th birthday in historic fashion with events to honor the founding of the county on March 13, 1848. The public is invited to join the party during the Williamson County 175^th Birthday Celebration presented by the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation on March 10 and 11 at the historic county courthouse, 710 S. Main Street in Georgetown. Future events will be announced on the website at www.wilco175.org. Volunteers can sign up to assist the celebration here. 

The Williamson County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office will be closed for business on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to shift realignment. The office will reopen for business at 8 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023.

Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector Larry Gaddes reminds property owners that 2022 property taxes must be paid in full by January 31 to avoid the accrual of penalty and interest. Multiple payment options are available.
