Medical Preparedness:
Make sure you have at least 5 days worth of medications to ensure you do not run into an issue should you be unable to obtain a refill.

If you need assistance with your dialysis, call the Texas ESRD Emergency Coalition (TEEC) toll-free hotline at 866-407-3773 (press 2 for Spanish) for assistance.

Have a plan in place ahead of time if you use oxygen. If you run into an issue, use your concentrator as long as possible, then switch to tanks if you have them. Many times you can request tanks through your supplier if it is covered, so be sure to ask.
